Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tyngs's Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may they be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!
We love sharing our books with you each week but more importantly we loving see what you add to your shelves. All the links added here will take you to Goodreads.

So no matter how hard I try not to buy books something's always grabs me & honestly books don't let me leave until I have bought at least one. And this week The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa was that book! I know Sal loved it & when I saw it was just £1.99 how could I not buy it!? I was naughty & I bought this copy from The Works, which also had the The Iron Fey series on 3 for £5!! You can't complain at those prices!!! As an aside you can also find the Midnight Reads review for The Immortal Rules here.Sally's Shelf
Well, I'd like to think I've been a bit better behaved this week. I went Xmas shopping as you do and acquired two books to add to my collection although as with Bungle there was an offer on so what could I do? I bought Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers and Double Cross by Malorie Blackman. This is the last in the Noughts and Crosses series so I intend to sit down and devour all four over the Christmas period. I can't wait!I also got my hands on a couple of books for review this week. I was incredibly excited to be given a preview copy of Shadowhunters and Downworlders: A Reader by Cassandra Clare. This is a series of essays, written by a host of amazing authors about the characters, their relationships and the places that exist within the world of The Mortal Instruments. It's quite a read! A shame this isn't out for Xmas because it'll certainly provides more than a few days entertainment. You can read the review here. I also got a copy of Til The World Ends, which contains three novellas written by Julie Kagawa, Ann Aguirre and Karen Duvall. All three look utterly amazing!

Grave Mercy is on my top five list of all-time. I absolutely loved everything about it - I hope you love it too!
Great haul. I am about half way through Till the World Ends and I am really liking it so far. I have Double Cross waiting to be read myself.
Check out my haul
