Stacking The Shelves #42

STSmall_thumb[2]

Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tyngs's Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may they be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

We love sharing our books with you each week but more importantly we loving see what you add to your shelves. (Sorry but no links this week!)
A bit of a bumper week this week with 13 new books here at Midnight Reads so we'll get right to it!

Bungles shelves

Still trying to kick the illness & no answers as for yet :( A brill week for me with books though!! My boyfriend bought me Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes and Deadly Hemlock by Kathleen Peacock as Easter presents as well as some cute little eggs :) I bought myself Immortal City & Natural Born Angel by Scott Speer as a 2 pack for just £3.50, what a bargain right!?! As for review books this week I received Lost Worlds by Andrew Lane from Macmillan which looks fab and you can even bring the cover to life! I was also sent Noble Conflict by Malorie Blackman from Random House, loving this proof cover! And Sally and I were both sent copies of The Beautiful and the Cursed by Page Morgan and Paper Aeroplanes by Dawn O'Porter from Hot Key Books. I love HKB and the staff there and so lovely and you can tell just how passionate they are about their jobs and the books they represent! And I paid just 99p for Amy Plum's Die For Her novella, I love me some Jules. Get this ebook novella NOW!!

I've got three new reads and they're all from the same series! This week I got Obsidian, Onyx and Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I love dystopian series but I haven't read much by way of aliens amongst us in the here and now. What can I say? I love Daemon! I've already read two of the three and I'm on the third one now. There's a fourth coming out in September too I believe called Origin which makes me so happy! I'll also be taking Daemon as one of my plus ones to my sister's wedding. Just need to remember to put the book down during the service. I think I should get away with it... I'll also have Jem with me as I'll be wearing my book necklace that my friend Sarah gave me. So, attending a wedding surrounded by book boyfs! Bring it on I say!

That's it from us this week, a brill week we think! Happy reading everyone
