Stacking the Shelves #96

Stacking the Shelves

Stacking The Shelves is hosted by Tyngs's Reviews and is all about sharing the books you are adding to your  shelves, may they be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

We love sharing our books with you each week but more importantly we loving see what you add to your shelves. As always, clicking on a book will take you to goodreads.

Sally has had a fantastic week! She went to the Hay on Wye Literary festival twice this week.  Last Saturday she went to see, and met briefly, Cassandra Clare who was talking with Sarah Rees Brennan.  As well as talking about the Bane Chronicles and reading an extract from the book Sarah also discussed the Magisterium series, the first instalment of which comes out in September, co written by Holly Black.  They also talked about The Dark Artifices and The Last Hours, the second of which follows on from The Infernal Devices and focuses on the children from the earlier trilogy.  I think that's the one I'll be looking out for.   She also went to see Benedict Cumberbatch and friends reading a series of letter from famous people and from people who are, for want of a better word, normal.  Such an amazing event and Benedict was amazing! Just the one for Bungle this week, Apple and Rain which sounds rather good indeed!
